A video posted on Youtube shows a group of protesters clashing with a Chicago Police Department sergeant on Chicago’s South Side. At one point in the video, the sergeant threatens to arrest one of the demonstrators for arguing with him.

Members of Citizens to Abolish Red Light Cameras said they had a constitutional right to take to the intersection of 119th Street and Halsted July 27. But in the video Sgt. Herbert Brown says he received a call saying the demonstrators were disrupting traffic, which they deny. Brown argues with the group, criticizing their signs and comparing them with gang members.

The Pullman intersection was one of the areas that showed an unusual spike in tickets issued via the city’s controversial red light camera program, prompting an internal investigation and public criticism.
