Highlights from 4-day injunction hearings on CPS closings lawsuits

Here are highlights from the four days of federal court hearings on two class action lawsuits against the Board of Education. The lawsuits claim Chicago Public School’s plan to close more than 40 schools next school year is a violation of students’ civil rights. The hearings took place Jul. 16 through Jul. 19.
